On pancake day every child in Young Explorers and Reception helped to make the batter for the pancakes with Mrs Miller. They learnt new vocabulary such as sieve, batter, whisk and watched what happened to the batter mixture as each ingredient was added. Last Thursday we had a Fairy Tale WOW day I the explorer unit. The children were so excited to dress up as their favourite fairy tale character. The children all seem very happy to be back at school after the Christmas Holidays. There have been some changes to the Explorer environment and the routines of the day, but the children have taken this all in their stride and are enjoying the new daily challenges that we plan for them.
