After School Kids Club Assistant

15hrs a week / 3.15-6.15pm  Mon-Fri

The successful post holder will be responsible for supporting the day to day running of the club. The club is overseen by the Kid’s Club Leader and Head Teacher.

2 x TA 1 to 1 Posts 

Saxilby CE Primary School is seeking to appoint two inspirational and enthusiastic 1 to 1 Teaching Assistants to join our team. These roles will be attached to the direct support of a specific child with additional needs.

 

Post 1:  Full time 1 to 1 (Enhanced Support) Teaching Assistant Post – Starting September 2019

This role is to support a child in Reception with medical needs and to provide social interaction support

Post 2: Part Time 1 to 1 (Enhanced Support) Teaching Assistant Post (20hrs a week)- Starting September 2019

This role is to work alongside a child in Year 6 to provide social interaction support. Initial flexibility may be required to establish a working pattern that meets the needs of the child.

 

We are seeking someone who is:

  • fully committed to the role of working alongside a pupil with additional needs
  • experienced at working in the role of One to One teaching assistant
  • experienced at working with children with Autism
  • experience of working with children with medical needs
  • motivated, energetic and has a flexible and innovative approach to learning
  • passionate about ensuring high standards across all aspects of school life
  • committed to inclusion and equality of opportunity
  • committed to the Christian ethos of our school
  • keen to work in partnership with the staff, families and an range of outside agencies and have the skills and confidence to liaise independently with them
