My name is Mrs Catherine Stratton and I am the Headteacher at Saxilby Church of England Primary School.
Saxilby Church of England Primary School is a very successful and welcoming school that our Church School Inspection described as ‘outstandingly joyful and compassionate’ and one where they said ‘children are extremely well supported in their learning and pastoral needs in a very affirmative setting supported by high quality teaching and learning practices”.
Without any doubt, this school has very high aspirations and is continuing to work hard towards becoming an outstanding Primary School in every sense of the word. At this school we value every child as an individual and work tirelessly to ensure that every child makes the very best progress they can in all areas, academically and personally..
We also seek to develop every child as a conscientious, thriving and creative individual and believe that each child will have their very own talents which need to be nurtured and encouraged.
In addition to the rigorous pursuit of significant achievements across the curriculum, children are encouraged to develop their skills and talents in art, music and sport, and their awareness of equality, fairness and a sense of belonging.
Our Church School status means children develop a deep spiritual understanding and we all support each other as one big extended family. We base our work around our four pillars of hope, community, wisdom and dignity.
The dedicated team of staff here work hard to keep the school moving forwards with a shared common purpose to make Saxilby the very best school it can possibly be. We hope that as you explore our website you will discover it to be both lively and informative. You will find up to date information regarding the latest events in school and also ways in which you may assist your child with their ongoing learning at home.
A very warm welcome to our school.
