What a wonderful build up to Christmas we have had at school. There have been so many lovely things that we have done. The children sat in amazement and watched the ‘Aladdin’ panto! They have made Christmas decorations and even  enjoyed a sneaky hot chocolate and biscuit!

We are so proud of all the children who took part in our Christmas production. They were well  behaved and showed great confidence and  enthusiasm whilst performing to a large audience! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Next term we will be learning about the changes in seasons and looking at the winter months. We are hoping to collect enough empty milk containers to build an igloo in the classroom. Please could you start collecting these and bring them into school during the first few weeks. We would also like  medium/large cardboard boxes for children to build with! This should help with your Christmas recycling!

During the first week back teachers will hear each child read individually and teach the children how to change their books independently. During this week  books will not necessarily be changed on normal book changing days. We will also be  checking their red word recognition so please keep practising at home!

Thank you for your continued support.
