Welcome back! We hope that you enjoyed the Half Term holidays. We have had a busy week so far, designing models, getting excited about Bonfire Night and getting ready for our WOW day!

Thank you to those children who completed a random act of kindness over the holidays, we have enjoyed reading all about them. We will be celebrating some of these in our Children in Need assembly next Friday.

Please note that the nativity scheduled for 8th and 9th December includes all of the children in our Explorer unit. E are sorry that this was not clear on the school’s calendar dates sent out last term.

Next Friday will be Children in Need day. Your child can dress us as a Superhero of their choice in order to raise money. Please see the school newsletter for more details.

On Monday your children will have their individual school photograph taken, we will endeavor to keep them clean and tidy!

On Tuesday the school nurse will be visiting to record your child’s height and weight.

Don’t forget that Wednesday is Open Day, anyone who is considering sending their child to Saxilby School is invited to attend. Times are detailed opposite.

As I am sure that you are aware Mrs Cavill had an unfortunate injury over the holidays and is recovering at home. She is missing the children and hopes to be back next week,. She might be a bit delicate next week, so please be gentle!
