This week we have been learning about hibernation. The children have been learning and writing about where different animals go to sleep during hibernation, how they store food and why they do not need to eat much food during hibernation. They had great fun designing a bear cave of their own and pretending to be hibernating bears in the cave. It was lovely to watch them working as a team to build and decorate their cave. They loved taking the torches inside to explore light and dark.
