In the explorer unit all of the children baked and decorate a cake for their Mummy.  All of the children thought about why they loved their Mummy and their thoughts went home on a gift tag.  The children have also been busy outside in the new mud kitchen and I think that you will agree from these pictures that they have taken what they learnt in the classroom baking cakes, out into their play in the Learning Garden.  Here is what Oscar Ryan and Georgia said about their Mummy.
