At Saxilby we want to make sure that the pupils’ opinions of the learning activities planned across all key stages, reflect how children want to learn.

Recognising that children have different learning styles, the Learning Council surveyed all children to find out how they prefer to learn, what their most and least favourite lessons are, what topics they have particulalry enjoyed and if there are any topics that they would like to learn about in the future.   The Learning council then took their findings to the teachers to inform their long term planning of the Creative Curriculum at Saxilby.

In September a new Learning Council will be elected and will be considering the safe use of the internet in school and how they would like to enhance their learning through the use of ICT.
