The children of year five and six have been enjoying their rainforest topic. They have been learning about the four layers of the rainforest including what animals live there and also the variety of plants. During this topic they have also enjoyed learning about how animals adapt to their environment in rainforest. In Art the children have been focusing on a specific artist: Henri Rousseau, looking at his at work and doing their own in that style. In music the children are creating compositions for the many sounds of the rainforest.
