We are very excited about the forthcoming term and have lots of exciting learning planned for the children. We will be writing a newsletter for you each Friday to keep you informed about the coming weeks but please do come and speak to staff about any worries or concerns you may have.

We will be spending the next couple of weeks assessing your children in reading, writing and maths. This will ensure that we know exactly what your children’s next steps are and so we can plan meaningful learning to ensure progress.

Next week we will be sending home reading diaries and books once we have assessed your child so that we are sure that the book we give is the right level for your child.

Your child will also be bringing home a spelling book with five spellings for your child to learn. We would like both spelling book and reading dairy to be brought into school every day along with their water bottle.

The children will have two PE sessions a week. The timetable will be agreed next week and we will let you know what days your child will need their PE kit. They will not need there PE kit next week.

Assembly time has now changed to 9.05. Please arrive promptly at 8.50 so that we can do the register and line up for assembly.
